Overview
THE REQUIREMENTS

In 2012 Allscripts was chosen by Liverpool Heart and Chest NHS Foundation Trust and neighbouring Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust to supply new electronic patient record system. Allscripts reached out to Sunrise Chase to recruit a new development team in Manchester UK for product localisation. They wanted a unique blend of skills and experience and engaged Sunrise Chase to be their trusted recruitment partner to ensure they would get the best talent available in such a small skill short market. They were looking for leader with 10 years of experience, and a team of 8 – 12 developers and testers. Core skills were needed in basic languages such as Java with knowledge of the Agile environment.

OUR MISSION

Our goal was to find a shortlist of candidates matching the desired criteria of the roles. We quickly identified candidates through an aggressive recruitment drive. We briefed candidates accordingly on the individual roles and the great opportunity with Allscripts.

THE OUTCOME

Sunrise Chase compiled a long shortlist for all the roles then traveled to Manchester to conduct multiple interviews and come up with a final shortlist for Allscripts to commence their interview process. At the same time, we were engaged by the Regional VP to recruit several sales roles and we conducted interviews at the same time. We completed both recruitment drives and placed 13 candidates in the various roles.

Working with an impressive client in the world of EMR

Allscripts originated as a medication management company in 1986. The company developed an interest in information technology in 1997 and released an electronic prescription service for providers in 1998. Allscripts also procured numerous ambulatory EMR vendors.

In 2008 Allscripts strengthened their services by partnering with Misys Healthcare Systems. In 1982 Misys procured Medico Computer Systems which offered practice management services to providers and was renamed to Misys Physician Systems in 2002. It was also during this time that Misys Physician Systems acquired Home Care Information Systems and entered the home health market. The company later acquired Payerpath in 2005 and changed its name again to Misys Healthcare Systems

The new Allscripts was formed in August 2010 by the merger of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. with Eclipsys Corporation, creating the largest connected community of clients in healthcare. Harvey Wilson founded Eclipsys in 1995 and procured MediNotes, a practice management company, in 2008.
